Our 8 doctor practice is looking for highly motivated staff to join our ohana as we expand. Applicants must enjoy working with clients and pets, have a friendly and easy going demeanor, a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills. Individuals should be team-oriented, have a strong work ethic, strong initiative, a sense of responsibility, and possess a desire to excel. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding care to all our patients, so you should enjoy the process of educating clients and helping them to take exceptional care of their pet(s). Equally important is the ability to work within and contribute to maintaining our fast-paced, upbeat, and fun work environment; as well as desiring to develop a long-term, vested interest in contributing to the growth and well-being of our organization. Individuals with previous experience in a veterinary clinic, daycare, or similar program are HIGHLY desired, but candidates with the appropriate attitude, ability to learn quickly, and desire to excel will be considered. The ideal candidate would be flexible in his/her scheduling including evenings and weekends. Reliability and dependability are a MUST.
Position Specific Qualifications:
CSR(Customer Service Representatives)/
Technicians- Working to ensure all patients receive a superior level of care our technicians should be dedicated, knowledgeable, and highly self-motivated. Individuals should be proficient in all animal restraint and treatments, have the ability to multi-task, anticipate the needs of the veterinarians, and work at a FAST pace. Record keeping and communication skills are a must. Experience and certification MANDATORY.
Assistants- Primary caregivers for the pet(s) within our hospital as well as those seen on an outpatient basis. Individuals should have the ability to multi-task, anticipate the needs of the veterinarians, and work at a FAST pace. Record keeping and communication skills are a must. Position involves animal husbandry and janitorial tasks. Experience preferred, but applicants showing evidence of a desire to excel and ability to learn quickly will be considered.
Overnight Technician/Assistant- Primary caregivers for the pet(s) within our hospital. Record keeping and communication skills are a must. Position involves animal husbandry and janitorial tasks. Responsible for the safety, care, direct supervision, feeding, cleaning, and exercise of dogs in our facility. Must be adaptable, able to read behavioral cues, be responsible, and self motivated. Some sort of petcare experience MANDATORY.
Our competitive hourly wage will be determined on an individual basis and is based on the position, amount of applicable experience, and suitability of the individual for the job.
