Directions
By car: From the Honolulu International Airport (HNL) take H1 East toward Honolulu, take the Punahou Street exit (#23), turn right onto S. Beretania Street, left onto Kalakaua Avenue, left onto Kealohilani Avenue, left onto Kuhio Ave. The Hilton Waikiki Beach is located on the left corner of Kuhio Avenue and Liliuokalani Street.
By taxi: Typical minimum charge is $40 from the airport.
By bus: There is no direct route from the airport to Waikiki hotels, so you will need to make at least one transfer. Buses leave approximately every thirty minutes from stops on the second level roadway in the center median (look for signs). No backpacks with metal frames allowed. All bags must be able to be placed under the feet or on the lap without protruding into the aisle way. No bag may be larger than 22″x14″x9″. Expect the trip to take about an hour.
Parking
Self-parking is not available. Valet parking (enter from Kuhio Avenue) is available for $10/day for conference attendees during the Nov 7-10 period. Overnight parking is at regular hotel rates. Parking in the surrounding neighborhood is sparse. Waikiki is easily navigated on foot or by bus, and there are car rental agencies nearby for day trips.
